| Hey! |

Wow I can't believe I haven't updated this thing in 2 months!
I've been busy at work with State mandated standardized testing along with the end of the third quarter of the school year. Gaming has been good, I bought World Heroes Anthology and FF Battle Archives 2: Realbout on PS2 for 15 dollars each. I also imported Echocrome for PSP. Amazing game where what you see on the screen is reality.
Video here:
I also went to a goth club last week and ran into a bunch of people from the fetish parties. The goth club was pretty cool (lots of cute girls dancing on the bar) but many of the club goers seemed a little too much on the teenage/angst ridden side, which reminded me too much of work and that I wasn't too crazy about. I'm also planning on going to another fetish party this weekend, with a 1950's theme, hoping to do a tux with 50's gelled hair for this one :D.
Just in case you missed it, last month's party was medically themed, ( here's a pic of me with my diabolical surgeon look ;) ) |

I haven't updated this thing in a month, wow............
Pretty much the same old same old, work is ok, on the university front I framed my diploma and also submitted my thesis to a historians conference in central Florida. Hopefully it'll be accepted and then I can present it to a big group of historians (always wanted to do that hehe). I also submitted it to my university's history journal, I'm hoping they'll publish it, it'd be really cool to have something I wrote in print.
In gaming news, NIGHTS is being remade for PS2 in Japan, i'm dying to get that when it releases on Feb 21st (updated graphics w00t!!!!!). SNK is also releasing a collection of Neo Geo games for PS2 and PSP which includes Magician Lord, Last Resort, KOF 94, FF 1 and 12 additional games, all for 20 bucks, looks really good for us SNK fans.
I also been to a few more fetish parties since last time, and I have this one pic I took haphazardly at 4am Sunday morning on my way back home that at first was like a total screwed shot but when I saw it I thought it looked kinda artsy, you be the judge:

And yea, my hair is blue :D It matched my jacket and makeup, what can I say :D |

Lance's portrait of me arrived in the mail, I promptly bought a frame and put her on the wall!
Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I love it! It's placed over part of my game collection, I'm extatic! :D
In other news, I went to my friend's birthday party this past weekend. He held it in an arena sized university lecture hall (how cool is that!). There were about 50 people there, tons of food and drinks, we had 2 PS3s, 2 or 3 Xbox 360's, an original Xbox, a Dreamcast, and a PS2. Someone brought 2 HD LCD screens and we played one of the 360's and one of the PS3's in full 1080p HD, it was amazingly awesome. there were other TVs that were brought that were used, and the coup de grace was getting the room's 2 story projector screen activated and plugged into one of the console which led to there being a 4 player split screen Gears of War session, and due to the size of this mammoth screen, it seemed like each character was lifesize! I also got to see some friends I hadn't seen in a while. I was so struck by the enormity of it all I went up to my friend Luis (the birthday boy and organizer) and go "man, this is better than a party, this is a Con!"
It went on from 5 PM to 2 AM, and I was joking with my friend later that if only the chemistry class that was going to be in session less than 48 hours later had any idea what went on in their classroom lol. |

| Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
[Nov. 22nd, 2007|04:03 am] |
I feel like posting so here we go...........
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
For those who read my last post, my Masters project isn't as bad as they thought and I've spent the last several days fixing issues they didnt like, and now they're liking it more, so thats been a HUGE relief for me of late. Deadline for the final submission is Monday, wish me luck I'm going to need it. :D
In other news I went to two other fetish parties in the last month, had a blast, last one I went to I dressed up like a Goth Blues Brother: ( Me ) Ran into people I knew, had fun, all in all a good time.
Lastly, I'm in the planning stage to buy a 360, I've decided to go with Microsoft for this generation (at least initially), I couldnt pass up C&C 3, Mass Effect, Senko no Ronde, Virtua Fighter 5 and Oblivion now could I :D
(not to mention HD Super Turbo and SF 4 down the road) :D
Oh well, hopefully someone reads this, till next time!
PS. Beware the tryptophan when eating that turkey! ;D |

| | crappy | ] | It's Thursday, I'm bored and I felt like trying this blog feature out soooooo..................................
Not to waste too much breath on this but I feel crappy, I've been working on a Masters Degree Project at FIU for the better part of 2 years, I got this mammoth paper done, turned it in, and gasp, THEY DONT LIKE IT, ugh. Im going in to see them on Friday to see if it can be "fixed" in the next week before the end of the term lol, oh well, not the biggest deal I guess, I just would have liked to have finally graduated some time this century.
At least Work is good and somewhat profitable, and thats always a nice thing at the end of the day I guess. :-D
In entertainment news I saw Night Watch and Day Watch recently, 2 very interesting movies about an invisible war between Light and Dark "others" (ie. vampires, shapeshifters, warewolves, incubi, and other such creatures) that occur in the streets of Moscow in present day. The movie had some neat Matrix like effects and was in Russian with English subtitles (that's always cool to see).
Lastly, being the crazy hardcore Gamer that I am, I'm getting Contra 4 tomorrow, for all you hardcore fanatics out there, its a definite 2D homage to the Contra games of old (Even includes Contra 1 and 2 emulated and unlockable on the cart, how cool is that heh). |

| Halloween is fast approaching....................... |

| | content | ] | Halloween is around the corner and there's Tropical Storm Noel nearby causing high winds and rain, hehe this must be what Snoopy meant when he used to write "It was a dark and stormy night..." lol (though in a way that might seem appropriate for the "spooky" mood that's so expected of tomorrow evening). Anyway, I'm not doing anything, I wonder if any kids will show up with the wind and rain that's expected, we'll see I suppose.
In other news I've been playing alot of MYST and EXIT lately (MYST being the famous point and click adventure from 1993, which i'm running courtesy of my Saturn, EXIT being a cool strategy/platformer/puzzle game on PSP thats a little like Elevator Action and made by none other than Elevator Action's creator TAITO, go figure). I also resurrected my Myspace you can check it out here at: http://www.myspace.com/jojofox_32 its invitation only but just send me a line and i'll include you (I made it that way after hearing all these horror stories of employers and reputable people using myspace to peer into the inner soul of the individual, his "other face" that would otherwise be hidden in normal life, soooooo I didnt want to take any chances hehe).
Lastly, I've been chatting with Lance alot, I always look forward to our conversations and am happy to have him as a friend, even if its through the text box. I still find our interchanges enjoyable after nearly 6 years, thats gotta count for something and I hope we still have great chats. I wonder if he, Richard and I could ever meet together in real life, or heck, the three of us in a chatroom even LOL, man I dont think the three of us have communicated together since Palom.net went down! (Palom.........I wonder what ever became of him....................................) |

| Craaaaaaazy Party Part 2 |
[Oct. 22nd, 2007|01:15 am] |
| [ | mood |
| | crazy | ] | So I sorta went to another fetish party this past weekend. I felt like going cause I had so much fun at the last one, and so I decided to go back. It was at the same club as last time (Club X-IT, the place with 7 rooms, laser shows, dancers, bar, and crazy music), and it had tons of people like last time. Thankfully they dont play any Salsa or Reggaeton like in Miami (this club is in Ft. Lauderdale), so they stick to 80s pop, techno/trance and heavy metal music, so that means I wouldn't be stuck hearing a song with only 3 words in it hehe. Outside of the club they had tight security (cause of the dress code requirement) and I remember going outside to use my phone at one point and this tourist girl, I think she might have been German (had a German accent) was talking on her phone loudly out there on the street screaming above the roar of the music inside: "Itdz som kinda Curaaazy Party, people dressed outa world!!!" (I just sorta laughed hehe).
